Calvary’s Call Bio
Calvary’s Call was formed in 2003 under the former name, “Called Out”. The group consists of lead singer Tim Stough, his daughter Beth Stough, who sings lead and alto singer, bass singer Marshall Motes and sound technician, lead singer and guitarist Pat Van Cor. Tim, along with Beth and Pat, attend Yarbrough Street Baptist Church in Montgomery, Al. Tim resides in Prattville with his wife Betty and his daughter Beth. Tim has dedicated his life to sharing the gospel in song for about the last twenty years. In 1989 he was a member of the Melody Masters/ Masters Four quartet. In 2002 the quartet disbanded and Tim continued as a soloist for about a year. In 2003 Tim, along with Sandra Horton and Marshall Motes formed the trio “Called Out”. A short time later Sandra had to leave the group because of personal problems that needed her attention. After a couple of months, Beth came into the picture at the age of 16. God showed us that He was preparing her to join His ministry when, one night she ask if she could try out. She opened her mouth to sing and it was as if God had opened the flood gates of heaven. She is now a senior in college studying to be a teacher. Marshall Motes is no stranger to gospel music either, he has been a member of two gospel groups before joining Calvary ’s Call he was a member of the Solid Gospel Quartet and the Sounds of Royalty. Marshall and his wife Kay reside in Elmore, Al. and they attend Camellia Baptist Church in Prattville , Al. The newest member of Calvary ’s Call is Mr. Pat Van Cor. Pat has been with the group for just a few months but he has brought an abundance of possibilities to the group! He is on fire for the Lord and loving every minute of it! Pat and his wife Barbara reside in Montgomery . God is blessing, but we cannot and will not do anything without His guidance.
